      For Value Recieved I oblige myself my heirs etc to make a good and sufficient Title by Deed of General Warranty to Robert Stockton Senr his Heirs or assigns for one hundred and fifty Acres of Land in Barren County for which Thos. Howman obtained a Certe (No 474) 200 Acres in said County which John Matthews obtained a Certe for (No 830.) Two hundred Acres obtained by Squire Griggs by CerteNo832) Two hundred Acres obtained by John Boid by Certe (No 921) so soon as the said Stockton his Heirs or assigns shall pay the State price due thereon In Witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 21st day of January 1805.

      This Indenture made this 15th day of May 1819 between Richard
      Garnett William Logan & William Thompson Commissioners appointed by
      the County Court of or Barren County in place of the infant Heirs of George
      Scott Decd in Conjunction with the Heirs over 21 years of age (To wit) Joseph
      Scott, Alexander Collier Jane Collier and Polly Scott Heirs of George Scott Decd of the one part and Robert Stockton of the County of Barren and State
      of Kentucky of the other part, Witnesseth that for and in consideration
      of one dollar to the said George Scott paid by the said Stockton and in Compleance with an Obligation the said Scott in his lifetime executed to the said Stockton the said Commissioners and Heirs hereby grant and convey
      to the said Stockton his Heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or
      parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Barren
      (formerly Green)containing two hundred Acres by survey and Patented
      to said George Scott assignee of John Matthews, on the waters of little Barren River and bounded as followeth, To wit, Beginning on a Military
      line of Stephen MKinneys Survey and Corner to Squire Griggs a poplar
      Ash and two Sugartrees thence South 84 West 150 poles to a dogwood
      and white oaktrees on the line of Walkers thence N13 W30 poles

      Barren Oak corner to said Walker thence North 60 West 125 poles

      and to hold to the said Stockton his Heirs and assigns forever & the
      said Commissioners for and on behalf of the infant heirs of said
      George Scott deceased, and the said Joseph Scott Alexander Collier
      Jane Collier and Polly Scott do hereby Covenant and agree to Warrant
      and forever defend the said tract or parcel of land with its appur
      tenances to the said Stockton his Heirs and assigns forever free from
      the claim of the said Heirs of the said George Scott deceased or any
      person claiming by, thro or under them or either of them and against
      the claim or claims of all persons but the said Commrs are to be in nowise liable in any ___ whatever In Testimony whereof the
      said Commissioners and the said Joseph Scott Alexander Collier Jane
      Collier and Polly Scott Heirs of said George Scott over twenty one years

      aforesaid, do hereby certify that the foregoing Indenture was acknow-
      ledged before me in my Office on the 15th day of May, 1819 by Joseph
      Scott and Polly Scott to be their act and Deed and on the 17th day of
      May 1819 acknowledged by Alexander Collier, and Jane Collier Wife of
      said Alexr being by me examined separate and apart from her
      said husband freely and voluntarily relinquished her right of
      Inheritance in and to the within mentioned tract of Land as the
      Law directs all of which is hereby Certified to the Clerk of the County
      Court for the county of Barren where the land lies for the purpose
      of being there Recorded given under my hand this 17th day of May
      1819

      In the name of God Amen. I Joseph Scott of the
      County of Spencer and State of Ky, being mindful
      of my mortality,do now while composed and of a
      sane mind make this my last will and Testament.
      And first it is my will, that after my decease, that of
      my means, my Burial expences, and all my just debts
      Shall be paid. After my debts are paid, It is my Will
      that my Grandson Joseph McDonald shall have all of
      my Farm, after my wife Harriet Scott has taken her
      thirds or Dower right, that s[ai]d Land shall be valued at

      thirty dollars per acre, and I will and bequeath the one
      fourth of this to my S[ai]d Grandson Joseph McDonald. To my
      Great Grandson John Robins, of the money to be paid on
      this land, I will the Sum of Six hundred and forty five
      dollars, to be paid to him when he becomes twenty one
      years of age by him, the S[ai]d Joseph McDonald.  Also it
      is my will after these Six hundred and forty five
      Dollars are withheld from the amount of Said Land and
      one fourth the amount given to S[aid] Joseph McDonald,
      It is my will that the remainder be given to my gra-
      nd daughter Sally Robison, wife of James Robison, and
      to my Grandson George McDonald, to be equally divided
      between them.The payments on S[ai]d land to become due
      in one and two years after my death, to be in equal
      payments; At the death of my wife Harriet Scott S[ai] Joseph
      McDonald is to have the Dower, that is the remainder of my
      farm, at thirty dollars per acre, including the House, The
      money due at my wifes Harriets death, S[ai]d Joseph McDon-
      ald to have one third, the other two thirds to be equally
      divided between my S[ai]d Grand-daughter Sally Robison
      and Grandson George McDonald.  I would here State thatS[ai]
      Land is held bound for the Sums of money herein willed
      and bequeathed to S[ai]d Sally Robison, George McDonald and
      John Robins.  Also I will that S[ai]d JosephMcDonald shall
      not dispose of this land during his wife, but that it shall
      at his death belong to his heirs, Should S[ai]d Joseph McDon-
      ald fail to pay for this land, then of course the land must
      be responsible to the other above named heirs, It is my
      request that my wife Harriet Scott rent her dower or
      third of my farm to S[ai]d Joseph McDonald at a fair price
      that she retain the large Room and above Stairs for
      her own use, To my Son Robert Scott, my Son Geor-
      ge Scott, and to my Grandson Robert McDonald I have
      heretofore given them their portion of my Estate, for that
      reason I will them nothing more.  I hereby appoint my
      Son George Scott Executor of this my Will, and without him

      the Commonwealth of Kentucky ot the Sheriff or any Constable of Garrard county greetings whereas upon the application of William Collier and Hiram Collier Administrators of Robert Collier, dec'd, we command you to summons Rebecca Collier, Michael Ray, James Harris, Joseph Scott and Alexander Collier to attend a settlement that said Admrs. purpose making with the commissioners appointed by the county court of Garrard county as Administrators and guardians Dec. 6th, 1834.

      William Collier and wife Martha Collier, Joseph Scott and Sarah Scott his wife, Alexander and Jane his wife, sells to Hiram Collier fo the sum of $750 one undivided tract whereon Robert Collier late of Garrard county lived.

      The within conveyance is taken subject to the dower of Rebecca Collier widow and relict of said Robert Collier but in all other respects it is absolute and complete this day and date of the above deed.

      This indenture made this 1st day of December in the year of 1834 between William Collier, Hiram Collier, Michael Ray and Joseph Scott of the county of Garrard and the Commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part and Alexander Collier of the other part, sell all the tract or parcel of land situated in the county of Garrard on the waters of Scott's fork formerly owned by Robert Collier, dec'd, the place that the said Alexander now lives on containing 150 acres and appurtanances.

      Signed by: Will Collier, Hiram Collier, Joseph Scott, Michael Ray, Patsy Ray.

      At bottom of deed - It is understood that the said heirs above mentioned sell their interest only in the above mentioned tract of land as the heirs of Robert Collier, dec'd.

      Robert Collier was the son of Alexander Collier and wife, Sarah, who came to KY in 1779 and first settled at Whitley's Station, then mouth of Clark's Run on Dick's River, then Downing's Station a few miles to the east. They were originally from Old Augusta Co., VA.
